Breakthrough Canine Vaccine Helps Prevent Tooth And Gum Disease – video powered by Metacafe

Doggie breath might be a sign of a
serious health problem. Veterinarians say bad breath could
indicate dental disease, which could lead to tooth loss down more…the road.
The sad fact is that by the time they’re three years old, most
dogs (about 85%) already have some form of tooth and gum
disease.
But, there is good news. A canine vaccine is now available
which aids in the prevention of periodontitis, or tooth and
gum disease. The breakthrough vaccine, called Porphyromonas,
is the first and only one of its kind.
