This woman name is Tammy Barr, has a kitten ( Corky ) came down with an ear infection that spread to his brain. Her veterinarian told her Corky wouldn’t make it. Barr wasn’t ready to give up on Corky. She took him to Dr. Sean Smarick at AVETS in Monroeville. He put Corky on a ventilator. The Corky was in critical condition and we had to breathe for Corky until surgery was performed to get the infection out of the brain. The resilient cat is now doing well. The total price tag to save the cat was $10,000. Barr had to take out a loan to pay for some of the medical bills, but she said it’s worth it.
