my 11 year old shitzu/bichon has developed a growth on one of her foot
pads. it is on the side and is clear in color. when she walks on it it
bleeds but it never oozes at all . It just bleeds because the skin
tears. its about the size of a raison and you can manipulate it and it
doesn’t seem to upset her. what could this possibly be? shes eating
well, playing, walking on it without limping or favoring it.

  1. megan says:

its called a absess. what you want to do is take some paroxide and clean it out. then use alcohol to pop it ( if not already open) and wrap it. this will help the absess to dry out . if this doesn’t work consult your vet.
