Cat Problem

“My 7 year old cat has developed a large swollen purple/black area on
his underside by his left leg. The purple/black discoloration extends all
down his left leg and over most of his underside. The right leg and
chest are the normal pick colors. It is sore to touch (he bites me which
he never does). I just noticed this yesterday (Saturday) afternoon and
can not find a vet to get him into until Monday am. Does anyone have
any idea what this might be? Is there any home remedy I can start now? He
is an indoor cat and as far as I know he has not had any type of
trauma to his body.”
