We got question from gail

1.5 year old shitzu is whimpering and last night acted very strange
running around and hiding under bed. He is usually very relaxed. He
doesnt seem to be in pain when I touch him anywhere? But definitely not
himself today, whimpering as if he is in pain??

anyone can help?

   it may be due to his anal glands being full . most shitzu’s act like this when their glands are too full. in order to see if this is the problem . simply squeeze on the sides of the anal hole and let the glands be expressed. if they cant be expressed that way that may not be the problem. i would try anyway.
