I wish I'd followed the advice to try the liquid glucosamine with our Golden Retriever. He was 11 years old and generally healthy, other than a little arthritis. We took him to the Vet last Friday for his shots. The Vet suggested Rymidal would help the arthritis and gave us a trial sample. After 3 days I read about some of the negative side effects and immediately took him off it. I didn't notice any problems until late yesterday afternoon on day 6. He vomited a few times and began acting lethargic. Early this morning he was having trouble breathing so we rushed him to the animal hospital. He died within minutes. Some people seem to have positive results with Rymidal. We didn't. One word of caution on the Rymidal…BE CAREFUL!!!.
