<description>Diabetes is an overload of the pancreas of Carbohydrates - most gibble fit in this category. Many vets might not agree however you need to get back to as close to nature as possible in terms of what the dogs ate in the wild - protein (meat) and grass.

Try feeding the dogs liver (inexpensive), 30% hamburger meat with eggs and spinach mixed in as a meatball snack. EVO is a 95% meat canned food -my dogs love it. I also feed the dogs chicken and turkey meat. There is a turkey meat in the frozen meat section that is put out by Zacky - it is $2.99 for 3 lbs of turkey meat. It doesnt&#039; matter how much you spend on the dog food - it&#039;s really about reading the labels. Diabetes is serious and you seriously need to get to the root of the problem - too many carbohdrates!
