QUESTION:
why are my kittens eyes constantly water very bad out of both eys but one eye
has a lot of bulid up down her face. the other day it almost looked like it
could of maybe been light, light green color. what cause this and how can i help
her to make it stop
ANSWER :
Hello,
A kitten presenting with a bilateral purulent (white, yellow, green discharge) ocular discharge might be suffering from cat flu. If that is the case, you may observe other symptoms including sneezing associated with nasal discharge, mouth ulcers, fever. As it is a contagious disease, non-vaccinated in-contact cats may also present some of the symptoms.
I strongly recommend a visit to your local vet.
In my experience, tetracycline/monocyclne antibiotics are very efficient in providing relief in those situation. I typically would prescribe a course of:
- Systemic Antibiotics such as ronaxan or oxycare
- Anti-inflammatories such as ketofen or metacam
- Antibiotic eye drops such as aureomycin
Best of luck.

If an old dog has a urination problem, you may wonder what caused such a condition especially if the dog has been happy and healthy in the past. When an old dog hurts when urinating, chances are he may be suffering from an infection affecting his urinary system.
Before giving the dog any home treatment, seek the help of your veterinarian so that the culprit behind the dog urination problem can be determined. If for some reason you cannot take your dog to the vet immediately, give him a dose of a homeopathic remedy for urinary problems instead of concocting your own home-made formula. Home-made treatments may not contain the right dose and mixture required to alleviate the dog’s condition and may only aggravate the situation. A homeopathic remedy, on the other hand, has been proven and tested to be safe and effective without any danger of side effects. However, as soon as possible, you still have to take your dog to the vet.

My daughter found this little guy roaming on the roadway, unkept, abandoned. Had
his teeth cleaned and groomed. Two days later started throwing up shaking and
pooping. Vet gave him an IV and sent him home. Next day he was worse. Returned

eating started the whole thing over again. The vet is now closed?

The vet said he had an elevated white

Female dog urinary tract infection and the problems associated with this condition are a common problem. Research and numerous studies have already proven that female dogs will get far more UTI’s than males. There are some reasons for this, and this article will look at some of those reasons.
Female dog urinary tract infection: Causes
There are many issues that can lead to this problem. One of the most common, however, is simply age. Once your dog has reached a certain age, it is more likely that a problem will set in. Weakening of the urinary muscles, bladder damage, and the formation of stones are just a few of the issues that the aging dog must face.
