QUESTION:

I took my dog to the vet yesterday because she was having issues with her C and today she is 10 times worse. Is this a normal healing process and should my vet have given me something for the pain?

ANSWER:

Dear,

As i understand vet has cleaned the anal sacs. I can’t see your description of the symptom what you took her to the vet. Anyway, pain isn’t normal reaction after emptying the anal sacs and can appear in affected anal sacs with tumors, infections and abscesses. Overfilled anal sacs give pain as a symptom too. But you must be sure that the problem is pain, and that comes from anal sacs. Be more precise! What does “issues” exactly means?
