QUESTION:

I found this lump under his skin just above the last rib. It’s about the size of a peanut m&m.It doesn’t bother him not even when I lightly squeeze it.What could it be and how can I help him now?

ANSWER

Dear,

The lump can be either lipoma, which is benign, or might be lymph node. But for certain a vet should decide. Unfortunately I can’t help you much by Internet, except the fact if it doesn’t continue to grow or if reduces, it won’t be a problem.

Truly,

Did you find out what the lump was, because I found a small lump under my 4 month old puppy, right above her ribs? It also doesn’t bother her, and I was wondering if I should be worried?
