Question :
I have a male cat named Java. I know he’s part Siamese but not full. I
know he’s at least 3 years old. He has been getting skinny, doesn’t eat
( we tried giving him soft food and even milk, but doesn’t eat it), He
drinks a little bit of water here and there. We took him to the vet a month and
a half ago and they removed some of his teeth and gave him some pink,
amoxi-drops to take. He seemed to get a tiny bit better, but now he has gotten
worse. What can we do? The Vet didn’t seem to help him much and we
can’t afford to keep sending him to the vet when they can’t correct the
problem. Can you help?

Fat dogs and cats are at higher risk for disease, but this can be reversed simply by losing the extra weight, according to recent research as reported by Petfood Industry. As increasing numbers of pets become overweight in the most developed countries, especially the U.S. and the UK, they more frequently succumb to or suffer from diseases associated with obesity, such as:
* heart disease
* diabetes
* lower urinary tract disease
* skin diseases
* degenerative joint disease

We as humans, try to eat fairly well balanced meals. If you are like our family, you gulp a few vitamins and supplement pills every morning in hopes of staying healthy.
Since our pets no longer head for the woods to find their source of food, they too, need additional “health insurance” by means of vitamins and supplements.
Not even the very best canned or dry food made for cats and dogs is perfect. There is not a 100% balanced and complete food to be found anywhere, no matter what the label says. Pet food for the most part is processed by heat and as we know heat destroys vitamins and enzymes. Even frozen and freeze-dried pet foods are not the “100% perfect food” to feed your pet.
What are some of the alternatives you should be looking for to insure your pet’s health? I am not suggesting that you give your pet a hand full of pills to swallow. I am aware of how much fun it is to give a cat a pill. Even have the scratches to prove it.
No, I just want you to be aware that there are areas of health to consider when planning your pet’s diet and that their food should include certain elements. If the food you are serving does not provide these things, then it is a good idea to consider this list and possibly add these supplements.

What is Dystocia ?
we try search at google and found some information about Dystocia, According to a source Dystocia mean difficult birth, and though cats sometimes require professional assistance to deliver kittens, or a C-section surgery, the general trend is for them to have very high success rates on their own.
A runt or dead kitten is not unusual to find within a normal litter, so this should not be a cause for concern, though the runt may require some extra care to help it “catch up†to its siblings.

You may not realize it, but inhumane animal testing is most likely used in the registration process of your dog or cat’s flea and tick control product.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires drug companies that manufacture and sell toxic chemical flea and tick pesticides to perform animal testing on helpless laboratory dogs and cats. The procedures involved will not only break your heart, but also send you searching for natural flea and tick treatments instead.
One common test is called the Lethal Dose 50 Percent (L50). This procedure exposes animals to a particular chemical in order to determine the dose necessary to kill 50 percent of the test population. Between 60 and 100 animals are required, and testing spans a time period from two weeks to several years.

The absolute best natural flea protection solution is to reduce your pet’s susceptibility to fleas by improving its health. The healthier your pet is, the less attractive it is to fleas. Parasites and fleas in particular are attracted to weak, unhealthy or young animals whose immune system is not functioning well. The quality of nutrition is a major factor in achieving natural flea protection.
Good nutrition is a tremendous factor in natural flea protection.
A nutritionally complete and balanced homemade diet of fresh, wholesome foods has many benefits including reducing your pet’s susceptibility to fleas. This is not as difficult or time-consuming as you might imagine.

The decision to euthanize a pet is among the toughest decisions a person can make; they are, after all, not just pets but family. The notion of putting an animal down is no doubt troubling, but I maintain, in most cases, it is the best thing people can do for their incurably suffering dogs and cats.
Working in an animal hospital for several years afforded me A LOT of experience with animals – some good and some bad. Euthanasia is always the saddest and most difficult endeavor for both owners and medical staff alike. But I have seen the degree to which medication can help treat the ailing, and to be sure, there is a limit to its abilities. When all the options have been tried (i.e. therapy, surgery, medication), and there is no end in sight of the animal’s suffering, then euthanasia is the only means of relief one can provide for his or her beloved pet.
