I was given this male yorkie. I have only had him a week and his urine is
golden yellow and smells.
could this be the new food that i have given him or should i be worried?

ANSWER

Dear,

Considering your dogs age, and ability of kidneys to filtrate diferent types of colors that can be transmited from the food to the animals blood, the changes in smell and colour of the urine can be normal.
Distinguish urine infections which are followed by urine sediment. Ask your vet to examine your pets urine.

Warm regards
