Are You Worried About Your Dog’s Arthritis and Joint Pain?
Did you know that 25% of all dogs develop arthritis or joint problems in the course of their lifetime? Actually, I didn’t know that until I looked it up. After realizing every dog I ever owned developed these problems, I decided to read up on it. We always gave our dogs the occasional doggy aspirin and the recommended Rymidal from the vets office, but I didn’t know that there was other products out there that could have help them.
Unfortunately our oldest dog a Lab/mix is now experiencing difficulty in jumping up on the couch and even standing up from lying on the kitchen floor. He was extremely overweight at one point, but we finally managed to control that with no table scraps, but it still remains hard to keep his weight down. I used to be able to walk him almost everyday, but the walks have become less and less frequent now that his arthritis has gotten worse.
